Brook Anderson

If you’ve ever seen Brooke in action, you’d struggle to believe she’s just 17 years old (at time of writing). Backflips, whips, and suicides with no hands appear 2nd nature to this up and comer.
The fact that a young female mountain biker from Portland Oregon can do these tricks is so awesome. Especially since it is not something we usually see female mountain bikers doing. Brooke has a bright future ahead of her. We are excited to see what she does next.

As a kid, Sam rode bikes, starting with BMX and then moving on to downhill. This is where she won her first national title at the age of 17. Since then, she has been focusing on freeriding, predominantly in the Utah area.
Brooklyn Bell

You may have heard of Brooklyn Bell as the result of REI’s “Pedal Through” documentary following three African-American women along the Oregon Timber Trail as they bike packed.
It’s not the first time Bellingham, WA local Brooklyn Bell has been involved in the bike world. Her talents include mountain biking, as well as being a talented artist. She has a feed full of content, colors, and creativity, so I highly recommend checking her instagram out!

Born and raised in South London but having spent most of her childhood in Morzine, Tahnee Seagrave is now among the best downhill mountain bikers in the world.
Having won a junior world championship in 2013, her career has flourished, culminating in a World Cup victory in 2019. Having been sponsored by Red Bull, her shots are breathtaking and absurd, demonstrating how far two wheels can take you. Due to injuries suffered during early season 2020, she has developed a burning desire to succeed more than ever. Currently residing in Wales, Tahnée has reached the pinnacle of her sport. We have definitely not seen the last of her.
Gotta love her insta description too “I like to go fast.”!

Both of them support one another during races, and they are always supportive of each other.
Veronique Sandler

There is nothing more fun than getting some air with Veronique. In the beginning, she competed in downhill races, placing between 10th and 15th, but sponsors weren’t interested.
Having fun became her priority, so she stopped racing. Interestingly, her fun-loving style generated viral videos and an enormous following on Instagram, making her a target for sponsors who turned a blind eye to her racing exploits.
Hannah Bergemann

And our final outstanding female mountain biker is Hannah Bergeman, an under-the-radar rider. However, more people became aware of her abilities after she joined six other professional women at the very first Red Bull Formation. In addition, she works in the marketing department for Transition Bikes. Bergemann owns a black cat named Garbanzo, and she loves waffles.
Based out of Bellingham, Washington, she coaches girls through Flying Squirrels programs during her spare time. Currently, the freeride champion is testing herself on the world’s most challenging scree chutes. There’s no doubt you’ll feel inspired by her Instagram feed.
In Summary
People tend to think that mountain biking is more for the boys. However, there are many talented female riders and their followers on Instagram keep growing as their skills do.
